Ladies and gentlemen, be ready! From October 18 to 21, is the FIAC Paris 2018 : let’s book your room at Hotel de Seine! Indeed, as every year, the unmissable event of contemporary art is about to fill the city and you should not forget to choose your accommodation in the center of Paris. Hotel de Seine is lucky to be located in the very heart of the Parisian activity: in a few minutes walk you reach the Tuileries Garden, and taking the metro, you will be at the Grand and Petit Palais in 20 minutes. For this 45th edition, the Grand Palais welcomes no less than 193 galleries from 27 different countries. Under the majestic nave of the monument are modern art, contemporary art and design, and the trends of today meet those of the early twentieth. In addition to the Galleries Sector, the Grand Palais opens its doors to the Lafayette Sector (Lafayette Galleries and the Fiac support young galleries which present one or two artists), Design Sector with internationally renowned exhibitors such as Jousse Company, Galerie Kreo or Eric Philippe, and Edition Sector with GDM or Editions Dilecta.

But the FIAC Paris 2018 is also located OUTSIDE THE WALLS. The Winston Churchill Avenue, with no car for the occasion, and the Petit Palais, receive sculptures and installations outdoors and indoors. A video mapping program will be screened every evening from 7:00 pm, on the facade of the Grand Palais. In the Tuileries Garden will take place twenty works while the Place Vendome has chosen only one, that of the artists Elmgreen and Dragset: a cloud of starfish. Our neighbor, the Eugene Delacroix Museum, place Furstemberg, presents the work of the English artist Rebecca Waren, and for the first time, Place de la Concorde participates in the FIAC Paris. An exceptional installation will occupy the place, like a village with a totally unique architecture. Of course, FIAC Paris 2018 promises some nice surprises with the Festival Parades for FIAC, the Conversation Room or the Artists’ films, but the rendez-vous is only 2 months away so do not wait too much to organize your trip!
